About

Charm and Grit is a lifestyle, a concept, a representation of my personal creed. It’s about living each day exceptionally well, embracing this moment and enjoying the journey you are on. It is about having the tenacity to achieve success and accomplish your dreams, while enjoying the process. I believe in having a positive impact on everyone with whom you come in contact.  I believe in making commitments to yourself to achieve success and working hard to achieve your goals. I encourage you to work past any perceived or real limitations, to overcome challenges, ignore the doubt, refuse the “can’t” and any desire to quit. Work hard, but play hard as well.  I wake up with a smile on my face and a fierceness in my eyes. I can be blunt, I might give some tough love, but only because I want you to thrive. I take your success as personally as I do my own. If you commit to me and yourself, I will do everything in my power to help you. I won’t listen to excuses, I consider “can’t” to be a horrible word and I don’t give sympathy without a damn good cause. BUT I will support you, believe in you, encourage you and have your back.

I believe in living life on your terms, in accordance with how you want to feel, in line with what you value and in the consistent pursuit of a life well lived.

Charm and Grit is here to help you live a life you love with information on wellness, positive psychology, self-development and authentic living. We’ll also take a look at gratitude and the joy of helping others. We will talk about mindfulness, meditation and living with less in order to live more fully. I will share with you my thoughts on conscious and intentional living. All of this to help you lead a more fulfilling life.

I will give you more than just information and inspiration. I am going to empower you to create your best life and live as you most authentic self by providing actionable steps for you to follow. I will teach you about habits and lifestyle design. I will help you develop the skills to succeed. I will show you how to create structure so you can enjoy freedom. Together, we will create a lifestyle based on your values and desires, on your dreams and ambitions. It is my joy, my honour, to help you live each day extraordinarily well so you may live a life you love!

I don’t claim to have all of the answers. I own my mistakes and learn from them. I take pride in being a student of life and am always learning, growing and developing. The only bad mistakes are the ones you refuse to learn from. The only bad failure is the one you refuse to risk.

Awhile back, my dog died. She was the first love I had ever lost. Her death was sudden and unexpected. It made me realize a very important fact of life: You Never Know! So don’t wait for tomorrow, don’t save the sexy lingerie for a special occasion, don’t put off your dreams, because you never know when your time is up. Don’t discredit the power of the universe either, don’t short change your own abilities and don’t make assumptions because you never know just how things are going to turn out.
